Removing Acne

Skin is divided into three layers which are the inner layer or hypodermis, the middle layer (dermis) and outer layer (epidermis). The outermost layer is a where the acne located.

Naturally, skin renew itself periodically. However, sometimes the process of exfoliate of dead skin cells leaving the closed pores to cause acne. Other causes of acne are hormonal changes of puberty or menstruation and stress.

Acne that penetrate into the epidermis layer usually leave a mark, and need times to be healed. Sometimes,the acne scar can not be removed. However, there are several ways to remove acne medically:

- Micro derm abrasion
This treatment effectively heal the light acne scars, by the coarse crystalline the outer skin layers will be removed and replaced with the layer beneath. Exfoliate should be done according to medical procedures, so it will not to cause irritation and sores on the skin.

- Chemical exfoliation
Chemical treatment is effective for eliminating deep acne scars. After exfoliating the top layer, exposing the layer of skin is stimulated to more subtle and fresh. Before doing so, consult a dermatologist according to skin condition. In some cases, this treatment can be done at home and partly in the skin beauty clinic.
In addition to medical treatment, you can also perform self-care at home. The following combination of treatments can accelerate your skin to become smoother.

- Honey and pearl powder
A useful combination to treat acne and also smooths the skin and accelerate skin rejuvenation process. Use a mixture of honey and pearl powder as face mask for 15 minutes once a week.

- Lemon juice
Lemon juice could lighten the dark spots left by acne. After washing your face thoroughly, apply a cotton ball that has been soaked in pure lemon juice to the acne scars. Let it stay for 15 minutes, and rinse with warm water.

- Tea Tree Oil
Essential oils would eliminate acne scars and acne on the face. Tea tree oil is also effective in preventing the occurrence of scars.

- Fruit Masks
Pineapple or apple fruit contains ascorbic acid that helps to diminish scars. Puree the pineapple and apple then use it as a mask or apply on acne scars. Let it stay for 20 minutes then rinse. Do it at least once or twice a week.

- E Vitamin
Apply pure E vitamin on acne scars of three or four times a day. You will see results within two weeks.
